I know we disussed this car before and the girl etc...but really come on now the car has been for sale for nearly 3 years or so it seems with same pics over and over and wont settle for 20k plus when you know they made their profit already.

Hey that's not to far from where I live. I take it this car/guy has a reputation?

jaak

I think it is always different cars, he just uses the same photos. Is this HLPAG with a different name?

yeah its HLPAG (based on previous threads on it) its just funny you know he spent only 5k to restore it and yet is not happy with 20k plus on a sale.

myk

Well, let's just hope that potential buyers these days have the smarts to research their cars and sellers before making such a commitment.

I'll bid $100 for the girl on the hood, though...

Need to bleach anywhere those skanky looking "models" touched and there are other people selling GL clones that haven't screwed over people.

I agree. . . they are nasty.  He would probably get more for his Generals if he got rid of the hookers.

Ad reads as built to order.  I wonder if one wins then you have to wait for them to build it.

For $100, you could rent that skank for a week.
Come on, Myk....I was hoping you had higher standards than that!

Ghoste

Rent-a-Skank.  Hourly and weekly rates.

Indygenerallee

It's not HLPAG... His name is Darren in Terre Haute, just about a 15 minute drive from my house.. last time I was by there I did not see any Chargers. Usually there were only one or two I ever saw there in the past. bodywork was atrocious on the one I looked at up close! He also used to do KITT knight rider Trans-Am's and screwed a few guys on those as well!!
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

I'm saving up for the Hotchkis TVS and a Firm Feel steering box; I gotta' cut corners somewhere... :shruggy:

I've taken the opportunity to clean up the 'skank' and substituted a more appropriate 'fine woman' for those that were offended.

Either way, he sounds like a scammer.  6 days to go on his ebay add and it is already up to 23K.  Can you say shill bidding.

Indygenerallee

Oh yeah, he is a scammer as he only has that ONE General Lee and then will build you one off the $25,000 you give him and they are ALL bondo buggies...

I have speculated about this myself.  I have seen that ad up for years now, and even watch it from time to time to see if it ever sales.  I think there is some kind of scam with it though.  I have seen it go for any from 19k- 23k, but never really sale.
