1969 Charger Disc Brake Conversion Booster Question

Doctor Diff sells a Bendix Booster for about 300 bucks.  Does anyone have a part number for it?  I am wanting to shop around for that part.   Apparently my drum brake booster won't drive the calipers sufficiently.  Gotta sink 650 bucks just to get the front brake kit and associated hardware so if I can save a little at a parts store I would be grateful.

Thanks guys.  Any downside to a reman vs new?

Edit: Nobody has them available new or reman anywhere that I can find including Rock Auto.  Diff and eBay are my options I guess.

No original ones out there.  If you find a core you can have it rebuilt by Booster Dewey (he might have some outright for sale...worth a shot)

PS---if you do get one of these repro units, read the fine print....

QuoteThis booster is not a direct factory replacement. The booster studs and hub are slightly larger than the factory original which will require you to modify your firewall bracket unless you purchase one of the firewall brackets that we supply in our store.

Doctor Diff calls his a "Reproduction".   Hmmm.

Well, I can't find rebuilt ones anywhere....    You say there are no new ones....   Looks like I am stuck with this one.

Thanks for the help.

I'd at least contact the ebay seller & check the dimensions of the studs'.  If all it requires is enlarging the holes I wouldn't have an issue with that.

I have an extra original Bendix, exterior is pitted & prolly needs rebuilt.  $150.  Booster Dewey is local too if interested.
Or chance it, throw some high build primer on it to smooth out & run it?

With my luck it would die the first day.  :(
