On a 68 with a floor shifted auto and single post NSS, is there an adjustment for the back up lamp switch? As far as I can tell, 2 nuts are holding it on and it doesn't look adjustable to me.  Also, I have a fair amount of grease on the shifter.  Will that affect the current that supplies power to my reverse lights as they are currently not working?  Thanks. :2thumbs:

if yer talking about the switch under the console top, yes, it's adjustable....and gets dirty quite often....take it out and use some spray electrical cleaner to clean it out inside, then re-install and adjust so lights come on with shift lever in reverse
