Well, looks like I'm just about at the halfway mark. Here she is in the buff just waiting to be brought back to her former glory. The results of former body damage are evident in the half ass quarter panel replacement on the left side. I guess this is what was considered satisfactory collision work back in the day. The welding is just about done and she should be in prime soon, then blocking and paint. I don't think she will make Carlisle at this point, just too much work left to be done. I'll be lucky to have her back by June at this point, but at least the job will be done right!

Most body shops to this day will do whatever it takes to keep from having to remove that back glass. We are one of the few body shops in this area that will remove glass as necessary to do the job correctly.

It looks like you're taking the time to do the job right.

I bet its goona look great when you finish! I'm hoping to start a restoration on my '71 six pack car in a year or so, but until then I'll keep driving it. Keep us posted with lots of pics.

Holy Moly Guacamole, that sucker is rust free!

Whats the deal with the street rod and the pickup cab in the background.?  Is this your garage or at a shop?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Shakey

I am really starting to like the '71 Charger.

This car will be great when it's done.
