Sorry to bring this up again. I've been trying to find this part with no luck and some people I've emailed said they've never seen it. But I've seen it as I found one on my other window. So what I want to know is what are these clips for, what do they hold, or how do they hold it. And which of the 4 holes do the 3 clips go to. If they clip over a hole is there a long of short screw that goes in them. I originally posted this in Q & A, hope its ok to move it here. thanks

There for your top belt outer stainless trim, that goes on the top of quarter to match door stainless, these clips are how it attaches, most guys wouldn't even touch them or remove, when restoring there cars
Mine were missing on this car , a real pain to find,
The car in my avatar was nothing more then a rolling shell when I bought it .

Sorry was trying to find my receipt for clips, you might have to do a google search, I didn't find the exact clips
But I found something very similar , the company US based specialises in fasteners for 50's cars I think,
If I find the company name I will post it
Extensive range of fasteners and clips , the length is what you look for , measure the one you have,
And after the frustration it was cheap for them

Thanks for the reply. I am just about to get that area on my car. After I figure out those window roller gadgets, if I can.

Hard Charger

I thought the guy who painted my car had had lost those clips. i leaned on him to take care of it, so he had gone to the hardware store and found a suitable clip and a very similar screw with attached washer for this belt molding.

so there is something that can easily be found at the hardware store.

unfortunately he tried to charge me about $70 to take care of it. later I found my labeled baggy with the correct clip and screw.

Yes I finally got all mine on.
