What years are the same? Is it all 71 to 74 b-body cars? Thanks.

Except 74 the rest are interchangeable if you keep on mind:
-the one you get is the same ignition system of your car ( points or electronic ignition )
-BB or SB
-terminals on harness plug to bulkhead are on same position... some years have harness plug turned around wires, but that is an easy to do job. Just match your new one with your wires colors behind the bulkhead or your old one if you have it.

Another stuff to take over:

-Tach or not equipped. ( easy to do it just adding the green traced yellow wire if you need )
-71/72 has the washer reservoir wire on engine harness since is at passenger side of engine bay, for a while 73/74 has it on headlight harness because whaser reservoir is on inner fender driver side. Washer reservoir wire was switched from harness with the brake warning system switch wire what on 71/72 is on headlights harness and 73/74 is on engine harness and taped together with starter relay yellow wire.
-A/C compressor clutch wire it could be another item to take over since is tapped also on engine harness, but doesn't arrive up bulkhead conector plug ( doesn't use any plug cavity ), just starts and ends along the harness itself.

NOTE: any harness form any year is easy to make it works if you have patiente to check and modify ( even if is 74 ). Mostly needs small modifications. 74 is the harder one because the reset button to interlock system.

SBs and BBs are practically the same harness, as far you get longer the coil and distribuitor wires to SB on to BB... or backward. Piece of cake
