Has anyone repaired a snapped-off speedo needle?  Is there an easy way to do this? Super glue?  Replacing the part seems to involve drilling out very small rivets.

needle just pulls off the shaft if I remember...they are a very tight fit...getting one off and the new one on may damage mechanism

I appreciate the help.  Looks like the spring that returns the needle to zero is bad so the needle will definitely need to come off.  So will the guage face.  Do you know where to get small rivets for the guage face?

if you have to dig that deep into fixing this, like replacing the needle & spring...I would just suggest on getting another speedo head
