I'm asking for some info. Has anyone bought an aftermarket speedometer cable? If so who from and were you happy with the product. From searching here I see they are supposed to be about 62,63 inches. The ones I see on ebay are 80 inches and wont work. Has anyone repaired or jerry rigged up something that works?

I got mine from Mancini. It's 63" long. It's perfect and I'm happy with the fit and function.
Also, mine's a 727 torque flight.

I checked out Napa and they have one but it is with cruise control. What would be the difference, I don't have cruise control.

I just bought one from Mancini as well (I thought it was 61"?).  I've heard from others on here that a lot of aftermarket cables are too long and make a considerably undesirable appearance in the engine bay.  If I were you I'd go for the stock length one, even though it's far more pricey...

It's 63" myk, 61" would be much to short.
But as you say, it's definitely worth paying the extra and getting the right one.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I guess I'll check out Mancini's. I'm hoping 63" is the length.

Providing you don't have cruise control it will be perfect.  :2thumbs:
