I think the term "sleeper" is starting to get stretched a little.  It used to mean a car that resembles a base model that had high performance goodies.  A person could look at it in the parking lot or pull up beside it and not realize it was a purpose built drag car until it was raced. (Kind of like the original concept of the Fast series).  Now, it just seems that label gets stuck on any vehicle that from 50 ft. looks like it may not be a drag vehicle.  No thought was put into making it sound stock or appear as a regular base model.
