Can anyone tell me what bolt size fits the four holes on a front square flange of a np203?  Thanks.

Flange is on the left side of pic.

I believe the bolts are regular 7/16 or 3/8 bolts. Napa should have what you need. If you can drive it, get it there, go inside, grab a few bolts and try to thread them in. They need to be as thick as the two flanges combined. Should be roughly 3/4" long or so. don't quote me :icon_smile_big:

Thanks.  I tried 3/8 fine thread but it was too small.  I was going to try 7/16 but didn't know if I should try regular or fine thread.  I can't drive the truck until it's put in so I need to get the correct bolt then try it out at home.  Trying to limit wrong attempts.

Confirmed.  7/16 course thread it is.

I like your truck, I've been looking for a big block 4x4 locally for a while. Finally found one, a 1978 440 (originally 400) W200 and cheap at $700. How do you like the full time 4 wheel drive? How's the mileage? I read online that mileage only suffers 1 MPG with a big block, 3-4 with a 318-360.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

Thanks, GreenM.  I don't have an accurate estimate for MPGs.  It's an old engine and a heavy a$$ truck so I came to terms with it not being good.  In my opinion, full time 4WD is better than only having 2WD.  For $700, I would snatch that thing up.  These things are beasts.
