Installed new digital gauges from summit. Gauges come on and work like they are supposed to but when I turn the engine on and the gauges start doing their thing. The numbers keep fluctuating up and down. I only let my car run for 30 sec and then switched offf. I have all my wires wired correct. I just don't get why the gauges don't settle in

Settle into what?  What gauges did you get?   Oil PSI, water temp, volts?  Will all fluctuate with engine rpm/temperature.

The only one that might remain "fixed" would be the fuel level gauge....  unless you hit the gas pedal of course ;)

myk

Wait...you only run your car for 30 seconds?  Digital gauges tend to do that as the car starts itself and the electronics "wake up;"  modern cars with digital gauges do this routinely.  Try running your car for more than 30 seconds and see what happens...
