Carter AVS - 625cfm vs 725cfm

I have a 1968 440 rebuilt to factory magnum specs.  The engine performs quite well even with the smaller AVS 625cfm carb on it.  Has anyone had a factory spec 440 magnum and swapped the smaller AVS carb for the bigger one?  Is the difference noticeable all the way through the RPMs or just at the higher?  Thanks.

In theory it should only affect higher RPM, and it will pull harder under full thottle runs. Unles you have a quest for speed leave the good running 440 alone.
