:iagree:

There use to be a company in California that advertised modern radio's that fit in the existing radio opening for our 71-74 B-Bodies. I bought one. Pure junk, and it hit the duct work for the A/C. The radio company told me to cut a piece of the vent out ::). I returned the radio. Don't think their in business anymore.

Nice car!   I would just buy an under dash installation kit and mount it under the ash tray area.  That is what I did in my 72 and it looks pretty good in my opinion.  I just left the original radio in the dash also.

Let's see some more pics of that car.

Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

I bought it at a local stereo place in town.  It is meant to be mounted on the floor the opposite way I used it, but the console was in the way.  Think it was around $15.00.
