902 Heads

Are stock 902 heads any good. Are they worth reworking for a rebuild 440?

i got a set but went with new aluminum ones. machine time is pricey and in the end you still got 40 year old heavy iron.

Of the big block heads, the 902s are those most likely to develope cracks in the exhaust seats. If they aren't cracked, they would be as good as any other open chambered head for a stock rebuild.
