i can get coated headers for my 69 440 for cheap from my distributor at work. never tried them and do not know anyone that has. are they a good buy? do they fit PS, column shift? online shows it does but would like real world answers, not just a sales pitch.

Cooter

Never tried 'em, but Cheaper don't always mean better. TTI seems to fit the best. I wouldn't be surprized if you have to beat 'em to fit. I know my Hookers didn't fit worth a damn, and they were $350.00 set painted.

Never heard of them either but like Cooter, I'm a little leery of anything they claim.  There are a lot of cheap brands that say they fit Mopars and don't.  Personally without any real world opinions I would skip by them and save for TTI's.  :shruggy:

thats what i have on my car, very good header they are also 16 guage steel instead of 18 like most, so they are a little heavier ,the only clearance problem is the trans dip stick tube & i would recommend a nipondenso  starter.

I have had them fitted to my 400ci 1970 Charger. Fitted with no problems. They are the ceramic coated ones from Summit Racing. Lot less under bonnet temp, more noise and power.

Cooter

I did get a set like these called 'Pace setter' for my '99 Ram with 360 Magnum. Full length and did fit fairly well. I rec. them.

Both will leave you wondering why you have a leak.   :D
