He actually seemed p-off alittle bit when I told I was going to pass and it wasnt new old stock like he said. Even the fuse holders were coroded. I'm definatly going to get a new one.

Is that 250 with some gold or is the wire setup gold plated?

Awkwardness you get from a pissed off seller lasts maybe 10 seconds, awkwardness in explaining why the project you just put dozens of K-notes into is now a smoldering pile of rubble will last forever.  Good call.
[ŌŌ]ƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖ[ŌŌ] = 68
[ŌŌ][ƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖ][ƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖƖ][ŌŌ] = 69
(ŌŌ)[ƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗƗ](ŌŌ) = 70

I have purchased 3 dash harnesses from Year One (2 Charger and 1 Challenger) and always used a discount code (otherwise I wouldn't have bothered). It does makes sense that they can resell to others - but I'd assume the other places can't beat the price (although they could sell at retail and still make a little). Interesting to note that M&H makes them "incorrect" as well. Had I known that I'd have gone that route for one car as I have to cut the harness any way.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Frank Badalson sells the MH stuff as well. He helped them "straighten out" some of the stuff that was wrong.

I think they have a lot of the original drawings.....not sure they were the supplier back in the day.

I think they may be OEM now to some of the manufacturers on new stuff.

Ghoste

Which could well be how they got their hands on old drawings if they were not an oem back in the day.

That almost sounds like the completely wrong harness. :shruggy:
yeah well we call them 50 times and they worked us through getting the damn thing installed but hey would not take it back ,  We could only lay under there for 20 minutes at a time installing before my back was trashed , with a cell phone have them work us through getting it in and its still f'ed up  .

Something smells bad there.
problem was it was purchased about 5 years before it got installed
           you know roject gets a rolling you need parts then project stalls and parts are not used in a time period they want to warranty it in

YO thohg in spite of their shipping charges are usually pretty good about returns.  If the part is wrong, its wrong.

In my search last winter I found some other sites selling also but at a much higher price and not the complete catalog.
Don't know why my code didn't work months ago but it's water under the bridge. Probably my fault. Punched in a wrong # or something. Ah, anyway like I said, needed other stuff and rather than pay for shipping from 2 places I got it all at once and it's installed so I'm moving on....

Part of the reason I kicked myself in the butt and got mine installed after a month and a half even though I wasn't going to be driving the car. Didn't want to have a problem. I know what you mean though. Mine's on the back burner now.

So which part number for a under dash harness from year one for a 68 charger. It just says on their website 1968 Plymouth and Dodge B-body models with oil gauge is that the correct one HU269B

Ghoste

Jeez their website sucks.  Type Charger dash harness into the search and you get ac conversion kits.

Dave27

I agree .Ok get the part number its HU269B for 68 witrh ralley gauges.Best price I can get from them seems to be 408.15 plus 19.31 for shipping for a total of 427.46 seems like allot.

If you are not in a hurry, wait for their 30% off sale, should be one for the Holiday.

Is that 250 with some gold or is the wire setup gold plated?

They are solid gold and plated with titanium insulation.

Dave27
