Been a longtime lurker, but recently just got the car back out after a few years and had it gone through to use it this summer.  I know everybody loves pics so I am going to try to post one.  Its a '70, 383 auto, all numbers matching.

Very nice car.

Since I am looking myself, I'll ask, what size tires are you running?
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Thanks everybody, I have had the car since 2001 and have redone the body and the motor, did very little machine work on the motor, just rebuilt it due to it being numbers matching.  The car is complete and all it really needs is aesthetic stuff (chrome, refreshed interior) now, but because its a driver, I am in no hurry to get to that stuff.

It was this color when I got it and I really liked it, so when I had it repainted we matched it, it is Fleetwood RV Blue, we got it through PPG.

I am running 215/70/15s on the front and 275/60/15s on the back.

The next major item is a new exhaust.  I am running headers through glass packs and one of the glass packs has some baffles rattling around, been that way since I bought it, but I need to get it done.  I think I am going to put 2.5" Flowmaster 40 series on it, I think it will give it a good sound.  I do need a new set of exhaust tips, if anybody has any suggestions on where to get them, I am all ears.

See ya around.
