My 440 should be around the 510-520 mark. What I currently have is hp manifolds with 2.5 " coming off the manifolds down into 3" with a magnaflow x pipe into mufflers and dumped. At the mopar cruise I won an award for a substantial discount on flowmaster exhaust. Do you all think a mandral bent 3" flowmaster system with a h pipe will make more power than what I have, which is compression bent, or do you think it would be a waste of money in this case?

Given the choice, I ALWAYS try and go with ther mandrel bent exhaust when looking for power.

I would think your manifolds are the tight spot at this point, no? :scratchchin:

X pipe will help on hp over the H pipe, stick with what you have. Mandral bent 3" X pipe system would be better than mandral bent 3" H pipe system.

headers don't fit worth a crap on this car. The last set I tried baked a starter and boiled the power steering fluid in very short order. I wish I found a set that fit but I tried 4 different types with no success.

do what i had to do , because used I victor junior heads, buy em in natural or black paint only, then modify them to fit your car, then ceramic coat is a must to stop heat to starters , you could also add heat shields to starter, 2 " primarys hookers are the easiest to work with, i used the supercomps,
