tiny plugs in the horizontal stabilizar

Does anyone know why theyre there and what they do? Im guessing they are locks for the hex bolts???

I seem to have misplaced mine...........

do you mean the small  pins placed in each end of the horizontal stabilizer to limit  wing angle?  I used simple roll pins to replace one of mine that was missing.

If you say they limit the stabilizer angle I'll take your word for it.

The pins limit the angle to 12 degrees. Any more than that and the drag goes way up.
