Weird Cam Bolt Washer

I've never seen a washer like this. Is it a lock washer of some sort? It was on the engine when I got it.

I agree lol! The guy that put this engine together is a real winner. I found all kinds of crap he screwed up.  I'm going to change it out for the right one.

Whatever it looks like, its way too soft because the bolt head just ate the metal when torqing the bolt. So get rid of it!

yeah looks something like that  :yesnod: , prolly used that , cause the bolt was too long &  could not be bothered to get the correct one  :shruggy:

Those washers for small blocks are pretty easy to come by.  Who makes them for single cam bolt big blocks?

so the washer is suppose to flat, i ordered one from mancini this morning
