Has any one wired up the new bird cage alternators from power master , fitting out my engine bay and got to this part, it has nothing in the instructions about grounding 1 x of the fields like the factory 1 or single wire , answer if you have done this or used this brand of alternator, thanks from geoff australia

call power master and they will send you direction on how to do it. It takes about 5 min to do and you can do it on the car.

And wat do you do with these plugs , are they connected to make a connection for ignition , I think I had better study electrical schematics , unless some one has done this , damn only bought the power master because I though it was a new direct replacement, already upgrade the reg with modern internals, also don't like that in only kicks in to charge at approx 1200 rpm

the power master that I bought was external regulated and it was a direct replacement. The only thing I had to change was from dual field to single field. Also my charges at idle. This is the one I got. http://www.jegs.com/i/Powermaster/713/7409/10002/-1

I wish I had opened it up when I received it , instead of leaving it containers with other parts waiting for the day that they go on the car, could have returned it , same reason I will never buy of year one again , reciets for the right parts , sent me the wrong stuff including vinyl top @&$@ , this alt internal reg , might list it and get another
