the chrome piece on the door at the top. This is the piece that goes along the window. It's a 72. I know it has screws but how do I get to them? Remove the door glass? Thanks in advance.

You do not need to remove the window. Take off the door panel and plastic moisture barrier, then remove the rubber window stop at the bottom of the door. this will allow the window to drop down far enough so you can get at the screws that hold the trim piece on.

You will find first the weatherstrip. Remove it and then the trim.

this trim also it should have a nut on rear of door and a phillpis screw at the very front end of door.
