From 71-74 what engine sizes were available for each year?

1971 -225, 318,  340, 426, 440

1972- 225, 318, 340, 400, 440

1973- 225, 318, 340, 400, 440

1974- 225, 318, 360, 400

I used to have friend that had a plain tan '73 Charger with a 6cyl & a 3spd on the floor. He put Cragar SS wheels on it, and no one would believe him that it had a 6cyl til he opened that hood.

In 1972, the following engine options were available.

225 Six (coupe and hardtop only)
318 V8
340 V8 4-bbl. (Rallye only)
400 V8 2-bbl.
400 V8 4-bbl.
440 V8 4-bbl. (Rallye and SE only)
440 V8 SixPack (Rallye only)



Nacho-RT74

as stated and another more:
71: 225, 318, 340 4bbl, 383 2bbl, 383 4bbl, 426 Hemi, 440 4bbl, 440 sixpack
383 4bbl standart equipment on Superbees and 500s
440 4bbl standart equipment on R/Ts. Optional on Superbees and 500s.
426 Hemi only available as optional on R/Ts and Superbees

72: 225, 318, 340 4bbl, 400 2bbl, 400 4bbl, 440 4bbl.
318 standart on all models.
340 only available on Rallye.
Rest of engines available on all models with as stated 225 exception, only available on hardtops and coupes. I don't know 400 4bbls Rallyes.
440 6pack rallye I think only three were built.

73: same as above with 440 6pack exception what of course was out of production

74: same as above but 360 instead 340 that was out of production and was available on all models.
