Not sure if anyone has caught this new reality show Kings of Crash, about the demo driver circuit.
In the opening credits you can see one car being demo'd is a '72 Road Runner.  :brickwall:

I'm liking it otherwise as there's not too much drama compared to some of the other shows.

That's really big here in Utah.

Fortunately, it wasn't a 68-70. No great loss.

Pretty sure the show is filmed in Utah.
It's on Velocity.

Most of the shows are only 30 mins from where I live.

I disagree. Had it been a 73-74 Roadrunner I would tepidly share your sentiment but the 71-72 Roadrunner is not something I would mistreat.

'71 - '72 Road Runners are one of my all-time favorite Mopes. Kinda sad to see one demolished in this day & age.
Did a quick search, this is all I could come up with for quick pics.  :icon_smile_dissapprove:

Years back a 3rd gen Charger was in a demo derby we call "Crash to Pass" in my home town. Sad sight...  :rotz:

472 R/T SE

Decades ago at a demo derby (big to do back in w. Ks.) someone paid a guy for a rig that hadn't been in a derby yet.

Not really worth mentioning since I can't remember what it was.  Someone with hindsight though.

Shame on you Mytur.   ;)  I used to think those cars were beat with the stick but my taste has really changed over the years.  Especially when they're sporting both spoilers.

I think this real RR with the 472 is worth more than $40k.  If I had the $$ I'd be all over it.
