safe to use stock driveshaft?

okay, ive got a 73 charger, had the 318/904/ 8.25... now has a 440/727/ 8.75.. i know i need the driveshaft shortened. but is it safe to use the stock one? and yes i have the new yoke, and u joints (even the combo u joint for the bigger pinion yoke on the 8 3/4) thanks guys

Might be a good idea to upgrade to the "big U-joint" driveshaft now that you have the Big Block, but I have had pretty good luck with the small U-joint (Small Block) stuff when running an automatic.
