Hey, a friend of mine told me a guy around here has about thirty five cars in a garage and is selling them to move or whatever, anyways, has a 65 Plymouth Fury that has a 383 and runs and needs paint, bucket seats, 400 bucks.  I haven't seen the car yet,  I got his name and where he works, going to try and call him tomorrow.  I did an internet search for some Fury pics, man, I want this car, looks cool.

Here is a random pic I got off the internet of what one looks like.  If I get it I will try the roller paint job for practice for when I do my Charger, and cruise around the Fury for fun.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

He is in Seattle, I hope the car is too.

-edit, I meant to say the car has a 383 and has bucket seats and the car needs paint, not that the car needs paint and bucket seats.   :icon_smile_big:

Before you buy a 65 Fury, be aware of one thing, the trim on these cars is made of anodized aluminum. Everything  except the bumpers, window trim and the door handles is trimmed with the stuff.  It's always dinged up because it's soft aluminum and the anodizing has turned white with age. These parts are nealy impossible to find NOS and they're BIG bucks if you do find them, and they still need stripped, polished and re-anodized due to their age ( Big $$$$$$$)   Good used 65 Fury trim is as common as $50 Hemis.

If it's a Sport Fury, then things get much worse, all the trim has an "Engine turned" accent running through it, which makes restoring the trim even MORE expensive.

I found all of this out AFTER I bought my 65 Sport Fury convertible project :flame:

One of these days I'm going to dig that sucker out of the shed and lose it somewhere  :flame:

Thank you Daytona R/T SE, that is good to know.   I wouldn't be surprised if the Fury is stipped of the trim, thus the "needs paint", oh well, wasn't planning on restoring it, just a cheap paint job to mess around with that roller paint thread info, drive it around, prob. can sell if for at least that if the paint is ok.
Also, maybe I could mention what you told me, and get it for 300.   :icon_smile_cool:   Thanks again, Nate.

From that pic of the Fury I put on here, looks like the trim you are talking about is all on the grill.

In the pic you posted that car is MISSING it's side trim...You haven't seen the amount of aluminum trim that is on the trunklid, and surrounding the taillights  :o  And as far as trim on the grille is concerned, the ENTIRE GRILLE is made of aluminum :flame:
