The guy had started to take off parts and box them for the Natls, but 90% complete and a VERY solid body. Been garaged since '84

2006.  Rallye. 400 4 speed numbers matching. drove it home 50 miles but it needed a new clutch and rust fixed, interior redone,.  Got it with a banshee 4 wheeler and a 96 ram 1500 w/ a 5" skyjacker lift, crate motor, and other stuff.  i'd rather not say the price.... it was a VERY good deal.

I bought mine in 2011 for $7000, good solid car. It was tagged as a 440 mag R/T and thats what the guy thought he had but with some discussions and facts ie: VIN #'s I was able to prove to him that it was a regular car that was rebuilt (original 318 car) now it had a 400 4bbl 727 and the original 8 1/4 diff with 273 gears. He originally wanted $13k for it. I drove it for that summer and enjoyed the heck out of it but planed on a rebuild that winter. Well a year and a half later its almost done, its now a 440 6pack, 727 manual shift kit 9 1/4 sure grip with 3:55 gears Hooker tuned headers into 2 1/2" SS custom exhaust and slotted tips. I have tried to make it look as stock as possible as a real R/T car but shes not! Oh yeah did a a bit of body work too, quarters, rockers, stripped to bare steel and straightened everything!!!! I'm looking forward to this years cruises.
