Anybody restore or collect old gas pumps?

That is an option.
Personally, I like the looks of an old pump, but it's purely an aesthetic interest. I care not if it's actually functional.
In fact, if the case contains nothing for inner workings that's a plus for me as it would make it infinitely easier to manhandle about, and I'm no powerlifter!

Perhaps that is why there are companies that produce and sell fiberglass replicas of vintage gas pumps!

I know its an old thread, but............ I'm restoring a 1957 Bennett gas pump and i would like to operate the meter by using an electrical motor. Has anyone done this before? if so, i would like to know what type of motor and what RPM motor? Pics would be awesome.
