68 Charger VIN issue

just saved another one but  she is rotten no eng/trans..  The title has XP29C8______ the C is for special order six cylinder if I'm not mistaken. Looking at the car the dash vin is hard to tell if C or G maybe.  Car has bucket seats, console, clutch pedals and dual exhaust.......i'm thinking it should be a G........any ideas. G= 383 I think. Thanks.

Gotta be a G. If it's an original four speed car it should be one the rare (1 of 74) 383/2bbl/4 speed cars. If so the dual exhaust would not be stock. What state did the car come from? Wasn't Oregon was it?
