My final question would be then, does anyone have a column adapter/collar for sale...?

There was an article in Mopar Action about using a tuff wheel in a B-body. You have to use the adapter or the wheel would hit the turn signal lever. The problem about using the adapter is that it puts the wheel really close to your chest - but there is a shorter adapter which can be found in 70s Vans - it's just half the length of the A-body adapter. You could also try to shorten the A-body can on a lathe and then reweld it. Bear in mind that you have to bend the turn signal lever if you use a shorter can!

I just have the standard grant adapter i bent back the turn signal lever, i don't like the wheel towards my chest. You can always add the adapter later.

I purchased one of the re-pop wheels and for the most part I am ver happy with it.
However I would love to find a better pad. I have the plastic one and it is flimsey!!
Anyone have a beat up wheel they would like to sell the horn pad and holder from?

originals are plastic too Bob ( except 71/72 SEs and 75 and lates models keyed colored tuff wheels )... read on 3rd gen board what I posted about that

yeap... the 71/72 SEs WITH TUFF WHEEL OPTIONED and post 75s color keyed are padded and with "chromed" ring...




75 and lates color keyed tuff wheels are with baseball ball stitch simulation on grip, instead 90º like earliers
