I think you should already be making arrangements to get it home.

charger_fan_4ever

Check it over good to make sure its not had a quick bondo job and fresh paint.

Black rock guard underneath and white is about the easiest color to "hide" the body work make me curious. In the ad there are no interior pics. Easy $3k just in parts to re upholster the interior.

Not a bad price for up here in canada for a clone if its a solid car.

Trying to get a guy I know to go look at it for me...it's 10 hrs away, getting a couple days off work is tricky as well...it probably will sell before I get a chance..

Tough economy up here for old toys. I saw a yellow 68 on kijijij ontario for sale for 2 months body in paint mostly together for $10-12k mags new tires ect. Took awhile to sell.

Not many have $20k for an old car anymore.

JB400

If you want it, I wouldn't waste anymore time and go get it.  Like has been mentioned, check it over real good first. :2thumbs:  Good luck

Get a good look at the rear frame rails, It looks like they were resprayed and the rest of the underneath hasn't been touched. They may have been patched?

The plate welded in front of the shackle doesnt look factory so it definately needs a good look. I think 23k and odd things like that don't mix.

69rtse4spd

Looks nice but I don't think it is an S.E.

yeah i was wondering about that  , think  the whole  chassis that supports the leaf spring shackle has been replaced or repaired or both  ,   dont look quite right  ,  can deffo see blobs of weld under the undercoating ,  like been mentioned needs a good inspection ,  prolly / maybe , has been done ok & real solid  , just not stock looking !

there are a few other things  that are not right ,  & for 23 k !! can you live with the faults , & correct them over a period of time  :scratchchin:

also , the drum master cylinder on a disc brak set up , what else has the corners been cut on  :Twocents:

Probably cheaper clones/RTs out there if scratching around, but it Looks nice to me, appears to be a descent old original car cleaned up.  I would peal off all that RT clone stuff and drive....

I have that combo too, so we would be triplets.

For that kind of money I would look at it myself or a qualified member look it it for you.  If it is solid and a quality paint job, I would jump on it.

Jeff is correct, it is not a SE.

After seeing pics of your car and now this one, I really need to get some rubber under mine, these bicycle tires look ridiculous.
