trouble reading a nice clear 69 road runner fender tag, what do i have??

So my buddy and I just picked up a F8 383 4spd. Plymouth road runner project car, I can't understand the fender tag info, I put the codes in on a decoding site and it does not add up. Just what do I have here??   Help!

The B04 is where im confused , is the 0 for 1970?? but it's a 69

Check the vin and the fender tag   187708 should be the last 6 digits on the vin.  It could be you have a tag for another car.  Also check the numbers stamped in the radiator support.  Should be the same digits I wonder if someone put a new front stub on your car and didn't swap fender tags

I think it's more likely you're misreading the "B04"...can you post a pic?

B04 is build date, Nov 4th 1968...

The B04 is actually the SPD (scheduled production date)

There is no way to know if the car was actually built on that date or not. It was the date they HOPED to build the car when the order was first entered into the system.

The 187708 is the vehicle order number.

The VIN of the car ends in 9A162383.

The Lynch Road plant fender tags are unique to that plant.

Which means that it is a 69.
