I have heard they might interfere with the front sway bar. Anyone have 1st hand knowledge of this ?Also what about the linkage under the dash. On my 72 Charger I had to replace the entire frame for the pedals and the extra pivot bracket under the dash, will have this problem on the 69 ?
Thanks

this works fine , the spindles need to be reversed so the caliper sits in the rear , the caliper has to be swapped for a later year with a banjo fitting & hose , the early caliper points the hose out the front .

maybe this will help.  http://www.moparaction.com/tech/archive/disc-main.html  was a popular conversion years ago.  almost drove me crazy because my car came with it and i couldn't figure out what was going on.

Thanks Chyco... Hawkeye, that Acticle from Mopar Muscle says not to use a 73 b-body.  :brickwall:

..or you swap out your '69 sway bar for a '71 sway bar, provided your K frame has a pass through. That allows the calipers to hang on the front.

While often reguritated as gospel, Rick has admitted that there may not be any problems with using post '73 spindles, although he has refused to update the article.

that is why i referred you to the website.   you need  73-76 a body or 73-74 e body.

I am going to use what I have, (73).  If Chyco says it works , than thats good enough for me.
Now I need to find what year calipers and from what car will work.  :2thumbs:

Okay found another quote from M.M. "'73-'75 B-BODIES (Charger, Satellite, etc.)
These cars are also factory equipped with unicast rotors, but they came with pin-type calipers. A change to the larger rotors requires only a simple adapter change (to the ones shown on the parts list) and nothing more. No knuckle or caliper swap is required. The calipers on these cars mount toward the rear of the car

My Bad I thought you were using 73 A body spindles
or the FMJ spindles work
