I'm bypassing the A/C on my 73 Charger. It has a 440 with A/C.I bought the not A/C belts and they hit the watter pump.  I have power steering as well. Anyone done this?  seem like i need some more parts get the belts away from the pump, maybe a the brackets were different.....pics would be great!!!
thanks

Brackets and pulleys are different on non a/c cars.  Sorry, don't have pics.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

No way without custom fab work to "Bypass" A/C compressor. Sorry.

with just change the water pump pulley to match the alt, you'll be enough. The new belt setup will be... crank/steering and crank/water pump/alt

Then if you care about MORE correctness, change the alt brackets and spacers to a NON AC CARS setup. Pretty much basic and easy to find, but that won't move anything, just for correct look

it is posible to run a belt from crank and alt without anything else to do on 73 and lates setups, the problem is the belt could get in touch SLIGHTLY with one of the water pump bolts

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt, wore it out and now I polish the cars with it..Sorry, but I like having a V-belt last longer than 30 miles rubbing a bolt head.
