Were any of the Trans Am races from 1970 televised?

And the key word there is televised.  Just wondering if a race series that had gained that much following in such a short time was televised in its peak year.

I don't recall hearing of any being televised live.   I think the 30 minute documentary Road Racing Detroit Style or possibly Trans-Am 70 had places for commercial breaks to be inserted.

I highly doubt it.  Any kind of racing coverage at the time mostly consisted of whatever might be shown on wide world of sports.  ESPN didn't exist.
Black Betty:  1969 Charger R/T - X9 440 six pack, TKO600 5 speed, 3.73 Dana 60.
Sinnamon:  1969 Charger R/T - T5 440, 727, 3.23 8 3/4 high school sweetheart.

Yes, I remember those dark days when Wide World was the only outlet and that was part of why I asked, I can only recall them showing NASCAR and the occasional drag race snippet as filler.

I asked a T/A collector friend, and he confirmed, no races televised.

Thats kind of what I thought.  A little surprising with it being as popular as it was in 1970.
