found a booster #54-73603 at napa.  i am goig to try it along with m/c 10-1475.  if they don't work i'll take them back and try something else.  i have found several posts that say will work and several that say they won't.

I can almost guarantee that they will not have any of those numbers in stock....  :rotz:

I guarantee you they will not have one, every place wants you to send a core in. Been there done that. Checked Napa, Checker's, AutoZone, RockAuto, etc, etc ....

Just bought 2 mater cylinders this week to make sure I get on that works . Summit has the 10-1475 and so did O'reilly Auto parts. Summit was cheaper. They are not the rebuilt OEM cores stamped with the part #. The parts distributor that had them (shipped with their paperwork) is Ozark Automotive Distributors Inc. I think they are in Missiori. They are shipped wet.

got booster 54-73603 and fits fine.  the master cylinder, 10-1475 , feeds out towards the motor.  i need one that feeds out toward the fender well.  need to do more research.  hawkeye

Why? Do you have a Hemi car? Only the Hemi's had the fittings facing the fender on the MC

Do you have pics of the units you received?  This is good news if they have these units back in stock!

Ah ok.  Thats not the "correct" Bendix booster but it will do the same job regardless!

i didn't think it would be the bendix unit but no one had one that was even the 'functional equivalent'.  everyone said i wouldn't even be able to do that. hawkeye
