It might just be time for another Harley

Sold my Dyna last year and the itch is starting to come back already. I thought it would take longer than this. Been searching CL. Looking at cruisers. I want side bags this time. Places to put my wifes crap when she wants to come with and mine too I guess. Have seen a few Road Kings I like, and a few Electra Glides. I have ridden both in the past, way back past. My price range has to stay under $8500, so looking for something older and I like older anyway. Decisions, decisions.  Pros and cons of either style cruiser guys? These are just a few of what is available near my right now.

This was my Dyna when I lived in Indiana a few years ago, quite a few years ago. It had drag pipes on it which I really got in to. They would set off car alarms, that was the greatest thing! I took this vid with an early version of a digital camera.

Nice scooter, Paul.   I haven't ridden bikes for a while either and never will again due to being on prescription blood thinners for the rest of my life so, whenever I get the urge to get another one, I just take 2 aspirin, lay down and GET OVER IT  !!! Ha !

I had 1 Harley, a 25th Anniversary Sportster (1975 I think) and it was a pretty dependable bike despite what you hear! Put lots of miles on it but sold it after a couple of years back then. My last bike was a R100S BMW and it was an awesome bike. If I ever (not likely) buy another bike, it definitely would be another BMW.

Harleys, especially used older ones are a dime-a-dozen down here so ....... just find one you like and do it! I hate straight-pipes as they are just too loud but, if that is your thing, go set off some car alarms!

Got to have a death-wish to ride a scooter around here! Too many distracted drivers out there!

That Dyna was the first Harley I have owned. I have had lots of other brands, sport bikes, cruisers and muscle bikes. I am done with the speed aspect of sport or muscle bikes. Low and slow is my thing anymore. And setting off car alarms.

I always wanted a black 92 fatboy that way I could walk into a bar and when I go to leave I could say "I'll be back" in my best Austrian accent  :D
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

According to my age I should be a prime candidate for a Geezer Glide (aka "Bagger" aka "Garbage Wagon") but I just can't get into the idea of something that bulbuous with all that stuff hanging off of it...I figger if you're gonna ride something like that why not get a sports car.   :shruggy:

Still get the open-air thrill without falling over. :smilielol:
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Nice looking machines for sure! A lady making a U-turn right in front of me ended my riding days 31 years ago but the itch for them has only recently subsided.

Love those Harley's.  Beautiful machines, each and everyone of them.  :2thumbs:

I called that guy last night. He lowered his price to $6900 because he lost his job and needed surgery. I was going to see it after work today. Called the guy this afternoon for his address and he told me he already sold it.
