is this old PLYMOUTH sign auto related ?

i found this sign on the local CL listing it is painted not porcelain it is 8' X 2' X 6" . i think it is cool but im not sure if it is auto related ? if it auto related what era is it from ?

It is now. As soon as you put it in your garage, it's auto related.  :D

Seriously, probably not. With something like 2 dozen US cities named Plymouth, and maybe 100,000 businesses named Plymouth over the past 80 years, it seems unlikely. Just doesn't look quite like a logo that Chrysler used.

Hopefully an antique expert and Mopar expert will weigh in. Still, very cool.  :coolgleamA:

Kinda odd that the siding on that garge goes straight up and down instead of side to side.  :hah:

That's the logo and flag alright. Auto related? You said it's a sign but it looks more like one-half of a table top or counter. Parts counter at a dealership?  :shruggy:

None yet, I just laugh when I see someone turn their camera sideways thinking it's cool or makes it a better picture. It's not like you get a print like years ago that you can turn to make it look right.

when you download it into your computer you should be turning it, or do i just have an old computer??  i think i can do it on the camera itself before i download it also
