With the minis of course  ;D...........my brother and I took my dad (like we do almost every year) to the vintage races at midohio.....my dad and brother are big mini cooper fans...my dad has a new one, a race prepared one and a older one....my brothers car is "minirat"....not everybodys type of car but for some reason everybody loves it!  He cut the top off of it and braced it all up and made a hardtop for it....you have to know my brother

yes I was the ONLY mopar in the whole place but, had a great time....great racing and nice cars!  I am going to post another thread about the racing......

Ha ha. It's like a 500lb gorilla sitting in a kindergarten class.   Love the early Minis!  :2thumbs:

Love those old mini's, had a few of them growing up.

So what do people feel like having old and new mini's mingle at a show?  Comparable to new and old mopars mixed on the lawn or different ball game?

Great pictures.

Mid Ohio is a nice track, been on it a few times myself.  Actually only lived about five minutes from the track several years ago.

that golf cars has a 1275 mini engine in it with a 4 speed....no seat belts or anyting to hold onto....its CRAZY fast...the front wheels will come off the ground....in 3rd gear...Jack Bumgardner made it in his shop....he was a mini racer back in the day....my dad owns one of his cars that set a record a pikes peak...cool guy!  I think hes getting crazy in his old age!

here is a pic of the car...after my dad wrecked it at Brainerd.

My Charger has followed me to Mini shows here in the UK, and my Mini has been known to surface at the Muscle car events that I attend with the Charger every now and then...!
