What I do not get is the other coach who actually caught him with a boy, and all you do is tell the head coach.  WTF, you have to be kidding, right?  Why the f#@! did he not step in and beat the s$!t out of this guy and then call the cops. Now, the lawsuits for cash will start, and these guys will be getting paid.

Doesn't surprise me one damn bit-it's natural these days for people to do absolutely nothing, even when a crime is being committed in front of their faces.  You guys remember that story about the high school girl being gang raped during a school dance?  That's right-she was gang raped for hours while people stood around and watched, recorded it on their phones, or maybe even participated.  Isn't there a thread right now about how a Challenger got ripped out of a garage while the neighbors watched it happen?  Again, people are more like sheep or dull-eyed cattle more than ever; no one knows how to take the initiative and take action anymore...

I think the reason people don't take action anymore is because they do not feel like getting killed over somebody else's problem. Nowadays, it seems there is an over-reaction to perceived interference. Look at road rage incidents. You cut me off, I am going to run you into the ditch. You give me the finger, I am going to try and shoot you with my gun, etc., etc.

This is exactly why. Most people are too afraid of today's Lawyers. When a woman can and DOES successfully sue a company for spilling hot coffee on her crotch and WINS!?!? This is why no one does anything. Why the hell should anybody go to jail so the rest of the population can rest easy that they are taking one for the team?

You beat the hell outta someone? Guess what, all you've done is cause the beaten to become rich and famous. Guess who's gonna be the one taking one up the a$$ in prison and not seeing sh*t for "Taking the nitiative"...

I agree with the possibility legal action for being a good Samaritan and interfering, but helping young boys or a girl that is being raped, looking into someone dragging your neighbor's car away or, I don't know, calling the police when something doesn't look right will not get you sued.  If I kept a girl from getting raped, someone getting killed, or my neighbor's car from being dragged away and then get sued then you know what fellas?  I will gladly put a gun to my head and pull the trigger because I don't want to be a part of a world that inadvertently prefers cowardice over common sense and the desire to serve and protect the weak and the innocent...
