So a I notice a rubber hose hanging from my gas tank.  After looking things over and trying to find some good info/diagrams for my 69' Charger I figured it is the vent hose.
The thing is that I cant find the rest of it and I cant find a good picture on how it is suppose to be run and a replacement for the end of it (due to not knowing the part #).

I have never messed around with gas lines or vent hoses, if anyone has some good pics of how theirs is run and attached with what is suppose to be at the end of it please send.

Thanks,
Chad

Got a pic? Location on gas tank? If on the sender's disk it's a return line for a vapor separator. If on the filler tube it vents into the frame rail.

Thanks Tan Top  :icon_smile_big:
wow, that is so clean looking,   :drool5:

I did a really dumb mistake, turns out I was looking at the wrong diagram.  the one i was reffering to was for the station wagons. :brickwall:

so from your pic and the me looking at the right diagram, i looks as if the tank is comming off.

now its time for the roukey question - it appears that a rubber hose is not suppose to be a part of it, is that correct?
I was eventually going to work on the suspension but right now i am save some cash up.  could i use a replacement rubber hose for now so that i can still drive it?

I have attached the pics (upsidedown of course) to a word document but i will post the individual pics incase it doesnt work.

Thanks again

I am at work and i have trying various things for the last 40 mins,  :RantExplode:
I cant send any pics
if you look at the pick that Tan Top sent, there isn't a metal tubing coming out and the rubber hose portion is like a foot long.

I am going to try to just "lower" the tank and see if i can just attach the rubber hose to the metal tubing until I totally drop the tank (then fix it right) to replace the springs and rear brakes and suspension.
