I need to change the gear oil in 8-3/4 sure-grip. I was thinking of using Valvoline synpower full synthetic 75w-90. Is this good stuff ?? Is anyone else running it, and if I run this oil do I still need to put an additive for the sure-grip in the oil ??  From what I read on the valvoline site it sounds like I don't need the additive. What do you guys think.

I'm using the same oil, this will be the third season and so far so good,  :2thumbs:  also I did not add any additives as the bottle says good for posi rearends.
68 Charger, slowly in the works, 451 c.i. approx. 535 hp @ the flywheel, so far best time in the 1/4
11.21 @ 119 mph, full exhaust, stock suspension, 4:10s @ 3640 pounds.

I think I would still go for the additive.

Are regular oil changes needed for rear ends?
The Auburn Gear Installation manual says to change your oil every 7500 miles.
Is this neccessary?  I've never heard of it being done before.
What do you guys think.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.
