Hi Guys,

I've just put a front end kit through my car and was wondering what the average was for ride height - i.e. how far does the torsion bar bolt get wound in before I put the wheels on and lower it and then do up the front pivot thru the K frame

Is the end of the bolt head approx
a) 1/2'' to 1/4'' proud of the lower control arm
b) flush with l.c.a.
c) 1/2'' to 1/4'' below the lip of the l.c.a.

Thanks

Bob

Depends on where you want your ride height at, if i remember my bolt heads were a little below the lca.

But this can vary depending on the size of your torsion bars, just put it at the ride height you want

Yes, true I suppose, my torsion bars are stock & I've got 245/60/15 and 295/50/15's on , I like it lower than stock but not too low...in the meantime I called a mate with a 69 and 15's as well, his bolts are approx 10mm/ 3/8'' in from the l.c.a. and it looks fine to me
Guess I'll set that up in the morning, thanks for the reply though
