which is better? Adjust torsion bars or install new springs to raise back end

I'd like to raise the back end to get the old school stance on my 70.  Right now the front is about 3/4" higher than the back.  I'm putting taller tires in the back that will help some but I'd like to do more.  I know I can either drop the nose by adjusting the torsion bars or I could put different springs in the back (w/ a higher arch).  With everyone's experience on here, which way is a better solution/easier, adjusting torsion bars or installing springs?

thanks!

For me personally, I'd raise the rearend.  If you drop the front end, you end up sacrificing your oil pan

Adjust the torsion bars to factory specs, make sure all front end components are correct, sound, and aligned, and that the front height is correct, then mess with raising the rear height.

In the old (and dumb) days, folks would use longer shackles and/or air shocks in the rear.

Fresh and quality rear springs is the right way to do it, but you certainly can add a leaf if the springs are overall sound. Or re-arch the springs at a quality shop.

I'm pretty sure was post here this, but I can't see it.

to raise the back end adjusting on front, requires loosening the T bars, wat makes reduce the tension, making it more bumpy
