What other vehicles use the same seat frames as a 1970 Charger?

I need a 1970 Dodge Charger front passenger seat and I've heard of a place nearby that has a lot of '70s Mopars. Since I plan to replace the seat foam and seat cover anyway, I just need to know which years/models of cars used the same seat frames.

I might even consider a front bench seat since my car is a column shift automatic. Are there any that would bolt right in without any modifications?

Any '70 B-body would use the same buckets: Coronet, Super Bee, Road Runner, Satellite, GTX, etc.

Since the 70 and 71 share the same seat foam can we assume frames are the same?

MaximRecoil

I thought the same seat frames were used for more than just 1970 cars.

I have 73 charger high back bucket frames in my 70 plymouth , but the seat tracks have to be out of and early b body because the the floor pan mounting  .  The upper Seat frame are the same .

Those highback frames were used up into the early 80's. I have a pair of Aspen R/T leather buckets in my '69. You only need to change the tracks.

That's good to know; thanks. So which seat tracks are compatible? Is it just 68-70 B-body?

That would be my guess. I have the original seat tracks in my car, just put the highbacks on top of them. I can tell you the Aspen tracks aren't even a "Close, but no cigar" deal.

Pretty sure the lower 70 chargers seat frames are 1 year only.

Yeah, 70 is different than 69. My 70 6-way seat track is different than my 69 or it would be under my 69 seat. My 70 track bottoms need work anyway but still a rare piece. I`m thinking of pulling the track since that is easier to store rather than the whole seat!
