I have always wondered why in the heck does winged cars when the pics are taken from the front they look like they are higher in the front and back pics look raked!??? Great ad by the way!!!
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

I had that original superbird press kit in a Chrysler marked envelope but sold it in 2008


I have packed away complete 69-70 automotive press newspaper competition press&autoweek with the wingcar pictures introduction and ads and race results drivers historys etc as it happened back in the day

I think it's just the way the light falls on the car that makes it look like there's no vinyl roof. You can clearly see where the vinyl stops though.

Love the article, thanks for sharing.

Is it me or is the article inaccurate though stating 1 car built for every 2 dealerships .
If there's 960 dealerships as stated in the article that would put production at 480.
To get to the 1920 it would have to be 2 cars for every dealership...

This old 78 Article had a different set of numbers .There nothing really exact.Even the superbird 1920 Nascar list has double mistakes etc
