factory air car guys, Gotta silly question

Ok, These were already out before I recieved the car. So I have no before pictures to fall back on.

When trying to put the hoses in the outer vents on the dash frames. There are clips that tighten said duct to the vent itself.

Does this clip go up or downward

Pasenger side duct looks like it will only go in with the clip on the downward side, but that looks like it's going to put it in a very hard place to access IF removale later on is ever needed

Goes on top. I just had an original one apart the other day.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............
