I think it was the most recent episode of The Fox T.V. show Alcatraz but the recreate park of the chase scene in the show and use the actual route. It is a Charger and a mustang too. Not as good as the original

My wife and I were watching it....show is set in San Francisco. Bad guy jumps into a new Charger (Black) and the female detective (who normally drives a vintage mustang same as in Bullit) takes some guys new 5.0 Mustang to give chase. I said to my wife...that's funny...sorta like Bullit...then the Mustang pulls up behind the Charger at a stoplight and the bad guy fastens his seat belt....I blurt out "hey just like Bullit"...then the Charger hammers it and does a right turn up a inclined street...then I see a vintage volkwagon beatle drive by....I said "they are doing a Bullit scene!" ...wife has no idea what I'm talking about. Then you see the same volkwagon beatle drive by again....funny they were recreating continuity problems only die-hard guys would know. Follows same Bullit chase...jumps over street hills etc etc.....wife asks well how does it end and I tell her the Charger blows up...and of course it did indeed blow up.

Show isn't that great but I have to give them props for weaving in a subliminal Bullit homage.

Ford sponsors the show so it was clearly an attempt to sell the new 5.0 Mustang.

they should have used a newer "Charger", it's less turd-ish looking.

Who gives a s#it what model Charger blows up?  As long as it's not a 68 and they toast a new one I say GOOD.  It's one less turd left.

Don'tcha just love the way Hollywood types simply hot wire new cars in a matter of seconds with no tools?  ::)
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

At least nobody can bitch about the Charger losing 14 hubcaps this time around.
