Ran across this searching for "Charger" related photos & thought it was pretty cool looking. Now, I don't own an "I" anything, but I know lots of people do & might like to see this.    :icon_smile_big:

Does anyone have an old rotary phone?   I am looking for one that works to put in my house.   :callme:  (call me smiley pun intended)

A friend of mine who works for the phone company wanted one, too. I found a wall mounted rotary phone at a yard sale for $5 & gave it to him. I have another that was my parents phone from when I was a kid. It needs a new rotary dial & I'm looking for one to replace it so I can hang it in the garage. If I see any cheap anywhere I'll grab it for you.

Wow, there's a bunch on ebay..... http://www.ebay.com/dsc/i.html?LH_TitleDesc=1&_sacat=0&_nkw=old+rotary+phones&_odkw=old+rotary+phones&_osacat=0

Oh ya, i forgot about ebay, i havent bought anything on there in years.  Thanks, i'll throw in a couple bids and see what happens.  I want to show my kids what it was like to dial a phone in the "old days".  well, not old, just older than me days.  I always had a seven digit phone number when i was a kid, not a name then number or however that system worked.

One thing I remember being told is, the rotary phone may not be compatible with today's digital service. I think there might be some type of conversion, but I don't know for sure.

Get yourself an old payphone with a booth.

The kids will love it & it could be a good place to put them for time outs.   :D
