I mocked up my valve train tonight: RB, 493", XE290s Comp Cam, 3/8" pushrods, Crane ductile iron rockers, and Stealths.

Only snag seems to be the 3/8" pushrods are contacting the heads on the INTAKES only, is there anything I should or shouldn't use on aluminum? I'll tear it down tomorrow and get out the die grinder. :hack:

I use an agressive carbide cutter designed for cutting alum without clogging the blades .

Thanks, CP.
Didn't know how far I'd get with a regular stone or cutter for ferrous metal.

Why not just .080" wall CompCams Pushrods which clear fine out of the Box ?

Ferrous Metal cutters work fine also, just spray wd40 to prevent clogging for the small amount of Aluminum you will be removing.
Only wimps wear Bowties !

I read up on that, but it is slow-going (it's probably just me). I'm going to get a single cut burr and try that. Thanks for the replies.
